RED NOTE will take you into a journey through southern Spain, breathing the evolution of Flamenco’s dance and music with the Internationally renowned direction and artists of Jesus Muñoz Flamenco. Red Note is borrowed from the tastefully symbolic, “Blue Note Jazz Club.” Like Jazz, Flamenco fosters its roots from raw, intimate improvisation of standard structures with profound rhythm and melody. Flamenco arrives at this improvisation through interpretations arising from the structures of the Cante Jondo, or the deep song. Red Note will explore dynamic, visionary movements in dance, music and visual art that are inspired from Cante Flamenco’s direction. Original music and works will be composed and performed by a cast of international dancers and musicians Nationally and Internationally, Muñoz is recognized for having a unique and original rhythm.  Muñoz has created a method and rhythm that represent his American Roots, Traditional Spanish Influence. The Fragrant Leaf Tea Boutique hosts a “Taste of Ireland” afternoon tea on Sunday, March 19 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The menu will feature a selection of traditional Irish teatime treats, served on a three-tier tray. Savories include Chicken Boxty, Dublin Classic Beef Stew and Corned Beef and Kale Tart. Pastries include Irish Soda Scones, Shamrock Cupcakes, Irish Potato Candy and Lime Pudding. The food will be accompanied by two teas: Keemun Classic Black Tea and Red Berry Orchid Green Tea. The food is catered by Chez Axel Restaurant with teas provided by The Fragrant Leaf . The afternoon tea is priced at $35/person, inclusive of tax and gratuity.
